Informations
Between 2008 and 2018, each year a summer school was held in Berlin hosted by Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin as part of the LL.M. programme. It offered an interdisciplinary forum for students in the programme, students of Humboldt-Universität and legal experts. The students participated in lectures and workshops offered by distinguished practitioners and academics. In addition, students visited memorials relevant both to German history and to the development of international criminal law.
In the ten years of its existence, each year the summer school has been inaugurated with a speach of a judge of the International Criminal Court. An overview of all summer school speakers can be found
here.
